Meet Lieutenant Commander Edric Hargreaves, the only man who knows the Caribbean waters better than a nervous pelican during a hurricane. Edric didn’t just have a career; he was basically the Aquaman of Regional Security, spending over two decades ensuring the high seas stayed reasonably safe (and occasionally dry). With a Master of Science in Integrated Coastal and Ocean Management, he's the guy you want around when a shipping container needs rescuing, or you just need to know why the tide is being dramatic. He retired as a strategic mind from the Regional Security System Headquarters in Barbados, where he was busy coordinating operations, analyzing maritime trends (he knows exactly which yacht was dodging its parking fees), and generally being the brain keeping the whole region afloat. He is also a recipient of the Humming Bird Medal Bronze (Gallantry), which is just a fancy way of saying he’s officially brave enough to argue with a pirate, or worse, a bureaucratic committee, and has been crucial in leading regional disaster and relief efforts.
The real story, however, is under the waves. Forget James Bond, Edric is a genuine, deep-diving powerhouse with well over 3,000 logged dives. That's enough time spent underwater to have a serious conversation with a mermaid (or at least a very grumpy grouper). As the former Diving Operations Manager for the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG), he was responsible for underwater search, rescue, and salvage. If you lost your keys, or a whole submarine, Edric was the guy on speed dial. Holding certifications like PADI Master Scuba Diver and Advanced Public Safety Diver, he’s basically the highly decorated, highly trained equivalent of a dolphin with a clipboard. After managing all that high-stakes aquatic chaos, he even had a stint managing a community pool program, proving that whether the water is salty or chlorinated, Lieutenant Commander Hargreaves is definitely in charge of the deep end.
